A strong understanding of PHP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS and database technology is essential, as is a flair for providing solid programming with feature-rich interfaces focused on customer usability.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate solid experience in:

* PHP 5
* MySQL
* XML
* AJAX
* Experience with version control software
* Knowledge of mod_rewrite in Apache
* Understands http fundamentals (request, response headers)
* Understanding of object oriented programming (OOP) principles in PHP5
* PHP Framework (CakePHP preferred)
* Javascript Frameworks (MooTools preferred)
* API integration experience with sites such as eBay and Google.
