Quantcast processes huge amounts of data everyday. We need people to present this data to our customers and the rest of the world in a meaningful way. Put your extensive development experience to work creating products used by over 2.5 million people every month. This candidate should be committed to writing elegant, efficient code and should practically have a copy of “The Art of Computer Programming” under their pillow. This candidate should want to code, we are not interested in hands off architects.

Requirements
• MS in Computer Science or related degree
• At least 5+ years software development experience in production environment
• Expert knowledge of Java or C++
• Solid understanding of Java internals
• Strong grasp of CS fundamentals
• Experience with parallel computing technologies such as MapReduce, Hadoop or GFS a plus
• Experience with Javascript, CSS and XHTML a plus
• Statistical programming a plus

Responsibilities
• Architect and Implement tools for our product teams
• Lead java development on our core Inference team
• Interface with new Data team to improve data warehousing methodologies
• Develop machine learning algorithms
